Scott & White has offered a residency in plastic surgery since 1991, producing the first graduate of the program in 1993. The program which began as an independent model was transformed to accept residents into an integrated model of training in 2010. Currently, applicants are interviewed in their 4th year of medical school. Residents rotate at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center and Surgery Center, The Children’s Hospital, and Oklahoma VA Medical Center. Residents in our plastic surgery program can expect to perform an average of 2000 cases over their three years. Board passage rates for our residents has been 100% over the past 13 years.
